Materials

☼ Lined with Stay Dry Athletic Wicking Jersey.

☼ Buttery soft PUL made from recycled polyester,  with a slight stretch.

☼ Comes as standard with The Anchor Insert. Made with 1 layer of 330GSM hemp/cotton, 1 layer of 330GSM bamboo/cotton + 2 layers of 260GSM bamboo terry. This combination is amazing for absorbing quickly and holding a large volume too!

Using The Original

☼ Generous pocket opening for easy stuffing.

☼ Hidden popper so can be used as an all in two - great if you prefer natural fibres against baby. But also means no more rummaging around to fit the right insert, it stays attached through the wash!

☼ Can also be used as a swim nappy without the insert - swim nappies are designed to only contain poos.

☼ The insert is long in length so can be folded to suit your needs.

• Fold in half for all over absorbency, fold so that there are 3 layers at the front for boys, or fold so that there are 3 layers in the middle for girls.

Nappy Care

We're all about keeping things simple. Simply wash + wear. Below is our guide, but do what works for you. As long as you have no smells, no stains and baby is rash free - keep doing what you're doing. 

☼ When you first unpackage your nappy, it's best to give it at least one wash. Just bare in mind that the insert won't reach full absorbency until around 10 washes, so just change baby a little earlier until that point. Below is a brief step by step to washing your cloth nappies but for more detail on how to wash reusable nappies we are a full step by step guide.

☼ After use, pre weaning, just pop your nappy into your wet bag or bucket to store until wash day. Post weaning, remove as much poo as you can, then store.

☼ After 3 days max of storing, run your first wash cycle (40D, 30-60 minutes, a small amount of detergent).

☼ Follow this with your main wash (60D, 2-3hrs, full dose of detergent*, make sure the drum if pretty full - you may need to add some baby clothes to it).

*detergent dosage - bio or non-bio powder is what we recommend. Check pack for dosage (water hardness, drum size + heavy soiling) -  this may be a lot more than what you're used to.

☼ Line dry wherever possible. If not, dry inside near a radiator (but not on it). 

Avoid tumble drying.

Avoid fabric softener.

Avoid bleach.

Do not iron.
